         The emulsion transfer is a process to lift off  off the  image from its holder ( print or photo) and  attach it on another holder, usually a fine art or engraving paper.

 

         This technic gives the image a unique appearance, inimitable with photo editing programs. Not only the shape and transparency of the folds, but the relief and differential gloss of the emulsion transferred with the final  support´s one .                   THE PRODUCT

 

         The Jellyfishphoto  transfers  manufacturation is  entirely hand made,  printing excepted, 

Theprints are made in compliance with ICC profiles attached and using original  pigment inks  which ensures  similar or longer  image permanence than a usual fine art print on paper.

 

         Once the transference is done, the ink is sandwiched between the support and the carrier emulsion who provides and extra protection aginst oxidation, scratches and scrapes.

The sharpness and colour fidelity are perfect becouse during the easy trasnfer process, the emulsion is not boiled or under solvents that disperse the ink.
